I was pleasantly surprised at first fir the general workmanship, but thought at first they had a faulty lens. However, after getting them back out I realized it was user error and was impressed on my last trip the mountains. I also found them to be impressive darker areas. Maybe you are new company or just an honest one but I would have paid more for these solid, simple, and impressive binoculars. Now I’m excited about your gift!
